CORRUGATED BOARD

Printing on corrugated boars is done by using water based inks, inks that are continuously developed throughout time, so high quality products can be produced. This involves the need of using a high quality cleaning product, custom made according to the chemistry of the used inks.

Flexoclean has developed an approach concept of the cleaning process which takes into account all the aspects connected to the end product.

Flexoclean organizes training programs for machine operators, where they are trained to correctly use the cleaning products according to the application.

PRE-PRESS

Flexographic printing, no matter the type of ink you use in the process, involves using photopolymer plates, which are processed with different solvent types.

Flexoclean has developed a solvent version without naphta compounds. This solventis “cleaner” and healthier than all the other available in the marker at this point.

The main advantages are:

- No naphta compounds
- It reduces the processing time of the photopolymer plates
- It reduces the volatile compounds emission
- It is more cost effective
- Traceability can be achieved

Flexoclean has also developed a simple method of measuring the additives needed for reusing. This involves using an IR spectrophotometer fitted with a software program specially developed for this.
