LIGUM is a member of WESTLAND GROUP, which produces and delivers rubber rollers for different typographic applications. All the rollers fulfill the quality standards required by the printing equipment producers.

Besides producing new rollers, LIGUM also refurbishes old rollers for most of the printing equipment on the market and not only. As a member of WESTLAND, certified EN ISO 9001:2000, Ligum benefits from the same production technology delivering the same quality.

Depending on the composition of the used material, the rolls for offset printing can be cataloged as follows:

WEROGRAPH – INKING ROLLS

These rolls offer stability of the offset printing process, even in case of a high ink transfer. The rubbers material has a good resistance at chemical agents used in the typographic industry. The chemical composition of the compound allows an easy maintenance of the rolls and also a long shelf-life.

WERO UV – INKING AND FOUNTAIN ROLLS

As a response to the markets request for quality rolls, Ligum has developed a special compound dedicated for UV printing. These rolls are especially designed for equipment which work with UV inks and varnishes, having an enhanced resistance at UV inks and the solutions used.

These rolls are called WEROMIX exactly due to the fact that they can be used both with offset and UV inks. Basically LIGUM has developed a hybrid compound for hybrid inks.

This is the best choice for offset printing, where the alcohol consumption is reduced or even absent.
